Japan marks a major milestone in ALP's international expansion.

TAIPEI, Taiwan, September 29, 2026 — Ally Logistic Property ("ALP") today announced that it has reached an agreement in principle with Prologis to establish a joint operating company for the development and operation of OMEGA automated logistics facilities in Japan.

The companies expect to establish a joint operating company in early 2027. The first project is planned for Kyotanabe, Kyoto Prefecture, with construction targeted to begin in late 2027 and completion expected around 2030. The partners are also evaluating a pipeline of potential sites for future OMEGA developments across Japan.

The agreement marks OMEGA's entry into Japan and represents a significant milestone in ALP's

international expansion. ALP will adapt a logistics infrastructure model developed in Taiwan and deployed across Asia-Pacific to Japan's standards for safety, reliability, service quality, and local execution.

Automation Delivered as Shared Logistics Infrastructure

OMEGA integrates logistics real estate, large-scale automated storage and material-handling systems, ALP's proprietary warehouse operating platform ALPOS, and operating services within a single model. High-density, pallet-based automated storage and retrieval systems, together with automated guided vehicles and related equipment, are installed as shared infrastructure serving multiple customers.

Customers can adopt automation without bearing the full cost of the capital investment themselves. It also allows customers to adjust the space and automated storage capacity as inventory seasonality and business needs evolve. ALP's aim is to improve warehouse productivity, inventory deployment, operational resilience, and total logistics costs through deeper integration across the supply chain.

Japan as a Strategic Market for OMEGA

Japan's logistics sector faces labor shortages, rising labor and logistics costs, constrained transport capacity, escalating land and construction costs, and demand for more advanced supply chain services. Many companies want to automate, few can absorb the capital, lead time, and specialized operating and maintenance that large-scale warehouse automation usually requires.

OMEGA lowers these barriers by treating automation as shared infrastructure: automated storage, operating space, and related services without building or funding a full system alone – with room to scale capacity as demand changes.

For ALP, Japan is a strategic market in which to further refine OMEGA under some of the world's most demanding operating conditions.

Through the proposed joint operating company, ALP and Prologis will combine their capabilities to co-design supply chain solutions with customers, beginning with the Kyotanabe project. The partners will also build a foundation for the future expansion of OMEGA across Japan.

Statement from ALP

"Bringing OMEGA to Japan marks an important milestone in ALP's international development," said Charlie Chang, Co-Founder and CEO of ALP. "It brings a logistics infrastructure model built in Taiwan and deployed across Asia-Pacific into one of the world's most demanding operating environments. Prologis is an ideal partner for ALP — not only due to their scale and expertise, but also our shared vision in delivering differentiated logistics solutions to customers in Japan through the integration of building design, automation, and business-model innovation. We look forward to working with Prologis and customers in Japan to adapt OMEGA to local needs, backed

by our hands-on operating experience, and build capabilities that can support expansion into additional markets."

An Operating Model Tailored for Japan

Through the proposed joint operating company, ALP will contribute its expertise in planning and operating OMEGA facilities, including automated facility design, systems integration, the ALPOS platform, and operations and maintenance. Prologis will contribute its development capabilities, local market expertise, customer relationships and established presence in Japan, supporting site development, design and construction management, and market engagement.

The companies plan to localize facility specifications, services, pricing, and operating and maintenance arrangements for the Japanese market. ALP will continue to design OMEGA around customer supply chain requirements, product characteristics, and operating processes —integrating the building, automation, software, and operations within a single framework.

First Project Planned for Kyotanabe, Kyoto Prefecture

The first OMEGA project in Japan is planned for the Prologis Park Kyotanabe 2 development site, where Prologis is currently carrying out land preparation work. The facility is expected to be a large, multi-story logistics property approximately 40 meters high.

Alongside preparations for the joint operating company, ALP and Prologis will continue to assess market demand, develop facility and service specifications, and establish the operating and maintenance framework. The companies are also actively evaluating potential sites for future OMEGA developments in other Japanese logistics markets. Over the longer term, the model could support expansion into additional international markets.
